One of my scientific endeavors is to harness insights from Decision Analysis for modeling complex interdisciplinary systems in horticulture, agricultural development and elsewhere.
I embarked on this mission in the World Agroforestry Centre's Land Health Decisions group in 2013, under the supervision of Dr. Keith Shepherd. In 2014, I started working from Bonn, where I was hosted by the the Centre for Development Research (ZEF).
I have recently reached an agreement with the University of Bonn to assume leadership of its Horticultural Sciences department in April 2018. I am planning to make decision analysis approaches and their application in horticultural contexts a main theme of this group.
